Ontario has decided to close the applications for the Master’s Graduate Provincial Nominee Program. The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (ONIP) is accepting the applications from those master’s graduates who intend to settle in the province of Ontario. Ontario opened the applications for the Master’s Graduate stream, and on that same day, the applications were also closed. The registration limit was set up to 1,215, as these numbers reached, the applications were closed.
On 29th September, Ontario opened the applications for those candidates who had a master’s degree. The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) opened the applications for the Master’s Graduate stream that comes in the OINP. Those international students who have been graduated from a higher education institute from Ontario, are also eligible to apply for this Provincial Nominee Program. Due to the success of this program, the OINP is also expecting a large number of applicants to sign for this program. If the users will exceed the selected amount, then the application system will be automatically turned off.
Eligibility for Masters Graduate stream
The candidates are not required to have a job offer to apply for this stream. You also don’t need to be physically present in Canada, as you can fill this application from your home country.
The eligibility criteria for this program include:
- A master’s degree from an institute of Ontario
- English or French language skills, require a minimum Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 7 in reading, writing, listening and speaking.
- The applicant must have lived in Ontario for a minimum one year
- Settlement funds
- An intention to live in Ontario
This stream will be shifted to the Expression of Interest (EOI) system in future, and the first-come and serve basis will be followed. The candidates who will be early in filling the application will be given priority.

Fees:
The fee to apply for this program is $1,500. You can pay the fee through your Visa and Mastercard.

You have to upload your scanned documents, and your related documents should be in English or French.
