Temporary Visa

Canada is one of the most developed countries in the world, that’s why people from all over the world are attracted to Canada. Being the second-largest country of the world, its amazing geographical features attract millions of tourists from all over the world. Canada welcomes more than 35 million foreigners a year. Some of these people visit Canada just to enjoy and experience the beauty of this country, some people come here to study, and some people come for business-related activities.

Whenever we think of traveling to any other country, the first concern that pops up in our mind is the visa requirement for that particular country and its eligibility criteria. Just like any other developed country, to visit Canada, you’ll be requiring a valid visa. There are two types of visas offered to foreigners who want to visit and spend time in Canada for any particular reason. The applicants are classified according to their purpose of visit, the period and duration for which they want to stay in Canada, and then the visas are issued accordingly. These two types are:

1) Temporary Canada Visas for Short-term Stay

Temporary visas are usually offered to visitors who want to stay in Canada for a short time. A temporary visa holder is required to go back to his/her country before the visa expires and the visitor is also required to mention his/her purpose of visit.

2) Permanent Canada Visas for Long-term Stay

Permanent Visa is granted to foreigners who want to stay in the country for a long time. It is a multiple entry visa that allows you to work and stay in Canada and it can also be extended to a longer period.
