This will be a point-based immigration stream. The applicants will be assessed on the various characteristics. This point-based immigration system will provide the opportunity for skilled workers to work in the UK. The skilled workers will require a valid job offer from a legitimate and approved employer. The job offers will need to be to the specific skill set, and the candidates will be required to have proficiency in the English language. The general salary threshold is £25,600. There will be not another route for employers to recruit or to set the minimum wage.

  • Global Talent Scheme

This scheme will be opened for European Union Citizens, EEA, and for the Swiss Citizens. This pathway will allow highly skilled researchers, Ph.D. Scholars, and scientists to come to the UK without possessing a job offer.

  • International Students and Graduates

The student visa routes will be opened for the EU, EEA, and Swiss Citizens. The applicants will be able to apply for the UK study visa if they are enrolled in a course in the UK, they possess English proficiency, and they have enough funds to support themselves and to pay for the course. The post-graduate work permit will also be available for the students, with this permit, the applicants will be able to work in the UK for the duration of 2-3 years.

  • Visit Visas

The EU, EEA, and Swiss citizens and non-visa nationals will not require a visa to enter the UK. The visa will not be required for visit purposes for 6 months.
